My name is Carlos R Gonzalez and I am the Owner/Tax Preparer of Taxes by Carlos R Gonzalez. I have a degree in Computer Sciences and MBA, Casualty Insurance Broker License and Life, Federal Tax preparation License and California CTEC.
Also, I am a volunteer with the IRS, preparing taxes for low income families and the elderly using their software.
With 30+ years’ experience in the Computer industry as Systems Analyst with exposure in many industries (Banking, Client Services, Defense, Insurance, Investments, Management Services, Manufacture, Retail, Transportation and Government). 7 years as an Insurance Sr. Risk Analyst for Personal/Businesses. 18 years of experience in Tax Preparation for personal and Sole Proprietors; 6 years with a major national company and 12 years as an independent.
We ONLY prepare taxes. We offer personal attention and a detail evaluation at their current tax situation, so we can use all the deductions and credits available to maximize their refund.
